Liam graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2018 and initially worked across a variety of clinical areas, including musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiorespiratory physiotherapy. He would then go on to specialise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, working across both the National Health and private sectors in the UK. As part of this, he was frequently involved in preparing athletes and optimising performance for the Manchester Marathon.
As part of his work to date, he has worked across a variety of specialities including post-operative orthopaedic surgery, rheumatology and chronic pain management. Liam’s passions relate to strength and conditioning, with a particular interests in lower limb rehabilitation such as ACL reconstructions and ankle ligament sprain recovery. Furthermore, he has a passion for improving outcomes in joint related issues and the benefits of rehabilitation in reducing pain and limitations caused by osteoarthritis. While in the UK, Liam was a certified arthritis management trainer, running tailored treatment and group sessions for those with hip and knee arthritis.
Liam has continued his professional development by completing specialist courses in joint mobilisation techniques, acupuncture and dry needling, as well as numerous strength and conditioning courses.”
